Why acoustic work
A well-designed acoustic space can fall short if the construction does not follow the design. Acoustic construction requires more than putting treatment on walls. Isolation, room construction, panel installation, finishes, and every connection between them need to work together.
That is why we treat acoustic work as specialist construction, not simply interior installation. As an acoustic contractor, we work from the acoustic design, coordinate with the project team, and build the room to its design requirements.

3. Construct
We execute the acoustic construction required for the room, including isolation walls, ceilings, floors, floating structures, acoustic doors, and other details where required.
4. Manufacture
We manufacture acoustic panels in our own workshop and install them according to the design.
5. Finish
We complete the visible woodwork, fabric, geometry, detailing, spacing, and placement to match the acoustic and visual requirements of the room.
6. Inspect
Once construction is complete, we inspect the room against the acoustic design. We identify details that need correction and tune the space before handover.

About us
Spectral Synthesis was started in 2005 in Chennai by Manoj Kumar, a sound engineer who spent over a decade working inside professional studios before he started building them.
Since then, we have constructed studios, auditoriums, home theaters, and other spaces where sound matters.
Manoj also runs Sountech Media, an audio engineering institute he has led since 2004. Its alumni include Anirudh Ravichander, Anand Aravindakshan, Sujith Sreedhar, and Ved Shankar, among others.
